ABOUT BRANCH :

The Department of Instrumentation Engineering of Government Polytechnic College, Kota, Rajsthan was established in 1971 and has expertise in the field of signal processing, Control engineering, bio-medical instrumentation, optical instrumentation and devices, analytical and environmental instruments, microcontroller and applied instrumentation etc.

Instrumentation is the heart of every process industry. It plays a very important role in the production. In order to run the industry smoothly and efficiently it is very necessary.

The vision of this department is to provide excellence in Instrumentation and Control Engineering education through innovative practices and team work. It strives to mould motivated and well-qualified Instrumentation and Control Engineering professionals who can provide solutions to Process, Automation, and Allied Industries with Socio-environmental and Safety Concerns.

PROCESS CONTROL LAB

Flow control loop, multi process control loop, simulators, contactor control circuits, pneumatic control valves, positioners, various types of recorders, different types of calibrators, different PLC modules.

MEASUREMENT LAB

Varieties of transducers such as stroboscope, temperature transducers, synchro, LVDT, flow, level and pressure transducers, indicating and measuring instruments, pneumatic trainer, flue gas analyser kit, pH analyser, dissolved oxygen analyser, optical instruments.

Electronic cards for control panels, transmitters and receivers, PID controller, annunciators and control valve
