In order to use HTE, you must first complete the registration form. During registration you are required to give contact, age and gender information. We use this information to establish your identity, contact you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest and to provide you an experience suitable for you.

Users engage with other users in the community by creating or joining groups. Information visible on a user’s profile is visible to other users in the groups you belong to. The decision to create or join a group is taken by individual users. Users are advised to join only those groups with whose members they are comfortable sharing their user profile information.
If a user joins a group and is not comfortable with it, they can choose to remove themselves from that group membership. If a user doesn’t want to interact with a particular member of HTE, they have the option to block that user. Once a user is blocked, they should not be seeing any interaction with the blocked user. If you belong to a group, some user you might not know might see you listed as member of a group that their contact belongs to. You can disable this visibility by going to your account settings if you like to restrict this visibility.
When a group page is created, the contents of the group page are visible to users who are not members of HTE. Similarly, in case of questions and answers, both questions are answers are visible to the HTE community. If you are not comfortable with associating your identity with either the question or answer, you have a choice to post the question or answer anonymously thereby concealing your identity.
Only those users who are part of one of your groups is allowed to see your profile. All users may request removal of an unauthorized profile or request deletion of personally identifiable information by contacting us at HTE.
As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole and to make changes to our web site to provide a better experience to our users.
