Govt. Bangur P.G. College, Pali, 62 years old institute is the largest Govt. higher education institute of Pali district. College is continually improving its quality in every aspect. Campus area of institute is 202302.35 sq. meters and built up area is 12364.19 sq. meters. The college building has a library in 9800 square feet area and with a treasure of 71652 reference and texts books for all courses running in the college. The library facilitates Wi-Fi network for uses and the institute also has a subscription for N-LIST. It has a spacious reading room of seating capacity of 150 students at a time.

College building has one administrative block and academic block, 28 classrooms, 9 well equipped laboratories, 1 conference room, 1 hall, 1 smart class room, 1 common room for girls, 1 staff room for faculty members. The College has provided two rooms for IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) and VMOU (Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota) study centers where students and citizens of Pali can avail facilities of distance learning and can get certificate / degree in various programms.

All policies of the institution are framed by Commissioner, Commissionerate of College Education, Jaipur. Syllabus for all programms is decided by Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur (affiliating University). Academic calendar is provided by State Govt. of Rajasthan every year. University examinations are conducted by affiliating university.

 The Institute offers 21 undergraduate and 9 postgraduate courses in science, arts and commerce faculties. 7 faculty members are registered in Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur (Rajasthan) as research supervisors in the field of Political Science, History, Sanskrit, Economics, Mathematics and Accounting (Commerce). BBA, BCA, B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., and M.Sc. in Chemistry programms are also running in self-financed scheme (SFS). Total 5069 students are admitted in this session (2021-22) Our highly qualified faculties are regularly upgrading their professional knowledge by attending international and national conferences, seminars, workshops, faculty development programs and HRD programms.

Academically strong faculty members encourage students to get knowledge in all aspects of life by organizing curricular and co-curricular activities. Various committees are formed in the beginning of session to plan these activities for students. All faculty members help students in achieving academic, personal and professional success. Faculty members deliver their lectures with the help ICT tools. PowerPoint presentations, e-content preparations on various topics for all courses enrich the curriculum and made these topics easy for students. These topics help students to understand difficult points of their syllabus. Extension activities are undertaken by NSS, NCC, Rovers and Rangers.

 During Covid-19 lockdown period volunteers from NSS and cadets from NCC helped people to protect and survival by organizing various awareness rallies, distributing masks and food material among needy people. NCC cadets of our institute also supported administration during lockdown period.

 The college has a Student Council where all members elected in democratic manner. This student’s council works for students and a link between college administration and students.
Various committees like IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) , Eco-club, NSS, NCC, Rover and Rangers regularly organized environmental awareness programms through plantation in college and in surrounding colonies. The college publishes annual magazines (Udghosh) and quarterly news bulletin (Goonj).

 The services of placement cell, Youth Development Centre (YDC), Inter Disciplinary Educational Association (IDEA) and skill development centre are integrated to provide education needs to the students of the institute. Govt. Bangur P.G. College, Pali is selected by the Commissionerate as i-start Centre to trained students and citizens of Pali to prepare their own Startups and aware them with digital world.
Govt. Bangur P.G. College is a Nodal College for various scholarships, flagship programms of State Government of Rajasthan, RACE / DRAC, Vidya Sambal Schemes etc. to guide new Govt. Colleges, Private Colleges and preexisting Govt. Colleges of Pali district.
