ADMISSION DETAILS
The admission process for the 2026-27 academic session introduces a flexible National Education Policy (NEP) aligned framework. This structure allows students to pursue a Major subject for deep specialization and a Minor subject to broaden their interdisciplinary knowledge.
Subject Framework
Major Subject: This is your primary area of study. You will earn the maximum number of credits in this discipline, and it will define your degree nomenclature.
Minor Subject: This is a secondary discipline chosen from a different or allied department. It is designed to complement your Major or allow you to explore a personal interest
Selection Process
Merit List: Admission is primarily based on the merit .
Preference Filling: During counseling, you must select your preferred Major-Minor combination. Availability is subject to seat intake and faculty strength.
Verification: Once a seat is allotted, candidates must complete physical document verification and pay the requisite admission fees to secure their spot.
