The government polytechnic college, Bikaner, was established in 1960 by the government of Rajasthan. It is one of the oldest polytechnic colleges in Rajasthan. The college is affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
