Welcome to Government College Mohangarh

Mohangarh Fort is the last built fort of India completed in 1944 by His Highness Maharawal Jawahir Singh ji of Jaisalmer, who built this fort for his younger son Maharaj Hukam Singh ji. On completion the royal family used to come and stay at this fort from time to time to monitor administration, revenue and security in erstwhile Jaisalmer State. It also provided a quiet get away for the royal family. Built of yellow sand stone and decorated with delicately carved screens, balconies and white Marble elephants all around the Fort.
