Raj Rishi College is one of the premier colleges of the state of Rajasthan. It is a Co-educational, Post graduate and Research institute and the only Autonomous College, in the Government sector in Rajasthan. It was established in 1930 by the His Highness of Alwar, Raj Rishi Maharaja Jai Singh Ji, an Educationalist entrepreneur who had a vision to empower the people of his native town through education. Thus, catering to the needs of the community in a comparatively educationally backward region of Rajasthan, the college is proudly completing its 91 years of glorious existence. RRC is the academic heart, largest Science College at Alwar and home to nearly 4000 students. The college offers students a journey of learning and discovery into the different Science streams—the fundamental disciplines that underlie contemporary knowledge creation. The college has highly qualified and experienced faculty, curriculum following Outcome based Educational Framework and excellent resources for preparing the students to meet the needs of the services and society at large. Our faculty is a community of dedicated scholars and teachers whose research expands the boundaries of our knowledge and imagination, and whose teaching prepares students for wide-ranging careers and lifelong learning. The institution cares for the all-round development of individual student. At RRC, all aspects of our educational processes are carefully designed to cultivate and stimulate the intellectual, social, and personal development of the most important stakeholders at this institution; the students. We strongly believe that our students are our treasure; faculty is academic depository, our wealth for the continuous growth of the institution. We are passionate about creating a ‘learning’ institution that is dynamic and constantly seeking excellence to meet the needs of the present as well as the future, while learning from the ethical and moral values. RRC is committed to the complete development of a student; this includes academic knowledge, social skills, intellectual curiosity, Physical endurance and a special emphasis on self-discovery.
