NSS

           National Service Scheme units of the college function with the objective to develop the personality of students through community service and to bridge the gulf between the educated and the uneducated masses. The four NSS units are actively involved in the field of community service through a number of programmes like lectures as well as field activities to create social awareness on various issues like National Integration, Environment Conservation, Tree Plantation, Women Empowerment, Female Foeticide, Literacy, Drug Prevention, Blood donation and so on.

College has 4 NSS units with a volunteer strength of 400+, the following programmes are undertaken:

• Adoption of nearby slum areas.
• Tree plantation programmes for  Clean and Green Environment.
• Awareness programmes on Health, Education and Social problems.
• Human Rights Day
• Blood donation programmes in association with Blood Banks.
• Elimination of girl foeticide.
• Organizing -"Yuva Chetana"week.
• Organizing -"Quami Ekta"week.
• Divisional level NSS workshops are organized from time to time.
• Shramdan to improve the standards of life as proposed by State and Central Government.
• And many other activities related to individual and social welfare.
