In session 2022, in the month of October, a target was set to construct NSS Garden through Shramdaan in the extremely rugged part in the north-western part of the temporary building of Government College, Khairthal. Program Officer Dr. Deepak Kumar and his group of volunteers got the inspiration to do this work from the diligent behavior of the then Principal Dr. Anju Rani. In this work, Bhamashah of the city Mr. Girish Data contributed 20 trolleys of soil and Provided financial support of Rs. 5100. Mr. Anubhav Sharma donated the tree planted in the middle of this garden and Mr. Hemant Kumar of Alwar donated about 40 saplings for this garden. With this support and the continuous hard work of the volunteers, the NSS Garden emerged in its present form between October 2022 and August 2023. Presently this garden is proving to be very useful for students to sit, communicate, rest, study and organize various activities.

NSS GARDEN NEW CAMPUS

In December 2024, we shifted to the new building of the college. This area was surrounded by sand dunes on all sides where only dust used to blow. Ever since coming to the new campus, the National Service Scheme volunteers and program officer Dr. Deepak Kumar had the idea of leveling the vacant space in front of the building and creating a garden there. Hence, from the first week of January itself, during the seven-day camp of the National Service Scheme, efforts were made to bring the initial form of the garden to reality. During this time, Mr. Ali Mohammad, the owner of Star Printers, also helped us in planting hedges and small plants in the garden. The boundary of this garden has been made by painting the stones lying here and there around the garden. Four Champa trees have been planted at its four corners, while an effort has been made to beautify it with about 12 hibiscus plants. Working continuously since January, the youth dedicated this garden to the college on International Environment Day, 5 June 2025
