PRINCIPAL MESSAGE

    It is a matter of great pride for me to be the Head of Government College Khairthal. It has been a short time since this institute was established, but working with full devotion, the former principals and the determined and hardworking teachers and other staff members working in it, with the help of the students, have given this small college a unique and different identity in the district in just 3 years. The college is currently running with minimal resources, but I have full faith that the students associated with the generation we are creating through this college will surely hoist their flag in all fields of business and service in the future. With the continuous innovations in this institute, we try for the all-round development of the life and personality of the students.

   In this institute, various subjects like knowledge of foreign language, need of cultural values, dance and art, need of economic security in student life, vocational guidance, literature and culture, importance of yoga and sports, usefulness of music and theater in life etc. Workshops have been organized, through which work has been done to enhance the various creative talents hidden within the students. The students of the college have done the work of bringing public awareness on various social problems by joining street Play group (Viplav). As an innovation, the Sahityik Shanivar Karyakram that runs every week in the session 2021-22 has led to an unprecedented increase in the expression skills of our students, as a result of which our college students have performed well in state level competitions.

    Our students have also earned a name for themselves in sports and have made us proud by excelling in various competitions up to the national level. In the last session 2022-23, a unit of National Service Scheme has been started in our college, in which various activities were organized throughout the session to enhance the personality of the students and bring awareness in the society. It is a matter of great pride for our institute that in the very first year itself two volunteers from our college were selected for an educational tour to Arunachal Pradesh under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme. The volunteers of the National Service Scheme have worked hard to prepare a beautiful lawn on the land of the college campus and dedicated it to the nation.

     The infrastructure for education is good in this institute. We are determined to ensure arrangements for smart classes, recording room for e-lectures, large seminar hall, rich library, free Wi-Fi, sports ground etc. in the college in the coming times. We are trying to develop scientific attitude in our students by imbibing the traditions of the country of India, as well as the availability of various career opportunities for the new generation and the work of developing the attitude of entrepreneurship along with skill development in them. are doing. I conclude by exhorting our students to become enlightened, disciplined and responsible citizens of this great country and establish it at the pinnacle of knowledge.
