Inhabited in the Holyland of Reverend Govind Guru and Mama Baleshwar Dayal, Kushalgarh is 60 km. away via Tambesra, 70 km. away via Sajjangarh and 50 km. away via Timeda from Banswara. Kushalgarh's is only the Government College in the region. It is situated on the borders of three states viz. Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Located in the far-flung tribal region of southern Rajasthan, Mama Baleshwar Dayal College was established in October 1990. The three-year courses of B.A.,Bsc., M.A. (Geography and Hindi Lit.) affiliated to  Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara is being run here. The college is also affiliated under section 2(F) and 12(B) with University Grants Commission.

The college caters to the needs of 2500 students out of which 2200 are of Scheduled Tribe. Two units of NSS and one unit of Rovering are operative here.
