THE BIRTH OF ASSOCIATION In March 1980, as an initiative of then Principal Dr S K Verma and some senior faculty members it was decided to invite old illustrious students of the College for an alumni meet. It was decided to convene a meeting of prominent old students available at Kota.In the first meeting held in April 1980 comprising of senior doctors, engineers, professors, senior advocates and other old students unanimously resolved to form “THE OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION” with the aim of organizing regular meetings and activities. A Steering Committee of nine members was formed to form the constitution of proposed association. Thus took place the conception.The steering committee held several meetings between April 1980 to March 1982 to finalize and approve the constitution of the Association. This two year period may be considered as the Gestation Period for the Birth of the Association. Then an intensive membership drive was undertaken and about 80 members were enrolled in a month. The first meeting was held on 25 April 1982 in the staffroom of the college. This gave Birth to a strong and well based Alumni Association .

PRESENT SENERIO Presently the association is active with full swing, regulary organising its annual meetings half yearly basis. For a successful proceedings of the association the apex body of association 'Executive body' met regular basis and outline the sucess of the association. The association is not only organising regular meeting of alumni to cherish the heritage of the institution but also establishing and disbursing various Scholarships and Medals to encourage our current and future generation among the students of 'Government College Kota'. | THE EXECUTIVE BODY Adhyaksh (Chairman) Sh.
