Electoral literacy Club
Electoral literacy (ELC) is set up in Government Girls College Tonk with the primary objective of sensitizing the students community about democratic rights which includes casting vote in a responsible manner in election. ELC club has been set up in the college in the year 2017. ELC club constituted at the behest of election commission of India in all the educational institutions with a motive to aware and ensure the participation of youth and future voter who are pillars of Indian democracy.
The college has an active Electoral literacy club. The members are as follows:

4. Students (member)
Objectives:-
1- To make the students about the electoral process in India
2. To help the students to register their names in the voters list
3. To conduct voter awareness programs in association with the election wing of the revenue department.
4. ELC is to promote awareness of right of vote among students, faculty members and community at large.
5. To enable critical thinking on issues related to election rights democracies and its proses.
Activities :-
Every year national voter day is celebrated. Conducted rallies to aware voters. Conducted cluster camp for new voter registration with the help of BLO. Introduce EVM to the students, Organised of various competitions for students such as mehndi, posters, rangoli, essay, slogan, extempore- speech, song etc . Students with the best performance were awarded by the principal.
