IM Shakti Udaan yojana

 

Introduction:-

IM Shakti Udaan yojana was launched on 19 Nov.2021 in Rajasthan state. Free sanitary pads are distributed to the women of the state through schools, college and anganwadi. The nodal department of the udaan scheme is directorate of women empowerment. Its implementation was done in collaboration with medical health, school education, college education department, technical higher education department, tribal regional development department panchayati raj department and rural development department. Government Girls College Tonk runs this scheme effectively and timely. Many girls are benefitted from this scheme.

 

VISION:_

The vision of I AM SHAKTI UDAAN YOJANA in Rajasthan is to enhance the safety of women in the state by providing them with access to menstrual hygiene products & promoting health awareness.

 

Objectives:-

 The objectives of the I AM SHAKTI UDAAN YOJANA are primarily focused on improving the standard of living for women in Rajasthan by making them self-reliant & empowered.

 

The scheme aims to:

1. Promote menstrual Hygiene.

2. Provide free sanitary Napkins.

3. Health Awareness.

4. Empowerment through Education.

These objectives are part of a broader vision to empower women and the promote health and hygiene in Rajasthan, especially in rural areas where discussing such topics is often taboo.

 

Mission:-

The UDAAN YOAJAN is a comprehensive initiative that not only addresses the practical aspects of menstrual hygiene but also aims to change societal attributes and norms regarding women’s health and empowerment.
