MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

The mechanical Department is committed to provide excellent technical education by continually improve the educational environment in order to produce competent engineers and professional with strong technical knowledge and high ethical value prepare for lifelong learning.

Laboratories

1. Machine Shop: Major equipments used in this lab are Lathe Machine, Slotter Machine, Shaper Machine, Circular Saw Machine etc
2. Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Lab: It includes Hydraulic Trainer kit, Refrigeration Test Rig, A/C Test Rig etc
3. Hydraulics Lab: Major equipments used are Hydraulics Bench, Centrifugal Pump, Reciprocating Pump, Pelton Wheel Turbine Test Rig, Francis Turbine Test Rig etc
4. Heat Engine and Turbine Lab: It includes Two Stroke Petrol Engine Model, Four Stroke Petrol Engine Model, Test Rig with Digital Tachometer, Air Compressor, Car Chassis  Model etc 
5. Mechanical Workshop: It consists of Carpentry lab, Fitting lab, Welding lab, Sheet Metal lab and Plumbing lab. Various equipments such as voices, chisels, steel files, drill machines, surface plate, AC/DC Transformer, Spot Welding Machine, Gas Welding Machine etc
