Objectives:

The Mechanical Engineering Program is designed to prepare students for successful careers having positive societal impact in industry, government, academia, and consulting.

Project( minor & major), Industrial visit, Expert lecture, Industrial training, Workshops, seminar, social activities.

 Skills developed/ program outcomes :

Mechanical Engineers are instrumental in designing efficient motor vehicles, aircrafts, manufacturing units and industrial machinery.

An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering to mechanical engineering problems.

An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.

An ability to design systems, components, or processes to meet desired needs.

An ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams.

An ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.
