Government Polytechnic College, Sikar is a prestigious institution in the field of technical education, established in 2006 by the Government of Rajasthan. The primary objective of the college is to empower youth through technical and vocational education, making them self-reliant, skilled, and socially responsible citizens. The institute is affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan (BTER), Jodhpur, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It has emerged as an excellent center of technical education not only for the students of Sikar district but also for those from neighboring regions.
The college campus is located in the serene and green surroundings of the outskirts of Sikar city, along the Jaipur–Bikaner National Highway at Chandpura village. Spread over approximately 7 acres, the campus is equipped with well-planned buildings, spacious classrooms, advanced laboratories, a digital library, computer labs, hostel facilities, and sports amenities, meeting modern technical requirements. The atmosphere here is highly conducive to the intellectual, physical, and mental growth of students.
