COMMERCIAL ART is directly related with the art formulated for commercial purposes like creating and implementing ideas , concepts in aesthetic manner for any product or service or for client and employers.
Commercial art is a medium of executing our innovative ideas and artistic imagination along with the technical aspect, to explore the opportunities for employment . In this modern world mantras of communication make the longitudes & latitudes of effective communication & advertising is a major source for the visual communication in the market day by day in advertising agencies and in design industry commercial artist are becoming a sought after community . This course is beneficial for the girl students who wants to develop their career through creativity and imagination.

 

COMMERCIAL ARTcourse concentrates on developing fine art knowledge , creative visualization, drawing skills, knowledge of different communication media , photo video techniques and many more.

COURSE CURRICULUM - COMMERCIAL ART SYLLABUS

 

Besides the working studio the department is facilitated with SCREEN PRINTING LAB, AUDIO VISUAL LAB,PHOTOGRAPHY LAB  and ART LAB.Each lab provides resources to fulfill the academic requirement of art and design student. New equipments in commercial art are regularly been purchased for all the four labs.

 

LABORATORIES	DESCRIPTION
THE ART LAB	Commercial art department is fully equipped with all latest tools of art studio we have DSO table, Easel stands, Donkey chairs, Drawing boards, spray gun ,compressor and still life objects with drapery. Art lab provide  individual separate desk ,donkey chairs for each student and have enough easels and drawing boards with lighting facility to develop object drawing skills and manikin for human figure study.
SCREEN PRINTING LAB	Screen printing lab of commercial art is well equipped printing unit to print multicolor screen printing jobs. Lab provide various equipment and accessories to student like wooden mesh frames, squeegee,G- clamps, colors, supercoat, film with facility of printing tables etc. Students can reproduce their created graphic design on different papers, clothes, fabric ,t-shirts, bag and on other surfaces.
PHOTOGRAPHY LAB	In the digital technology age commercial art photography studio is well equipped with modern digital camera, digital studio lights, boom stands, light tent with all modern photography studio accessories . Student shoots  Adv. Photography, macro photography, product and portrait in their studio with a professional  touch. Our department has developed professional photo studio which fulfills all requirement of advertising design subjects.
AUDIO – VISUAL LAB	In visual communication subjects a visualize, a creative director needs to execute their idea and design in various media. Commercial art audio visual lab provide latest computer hardware and software facilities, scanners, printer, with many other audio visual accessories and projection facilities to develop and create design according to market needs. In audio - visual lab open access to internet facility (Broadband) given to students according to their academic requirement.
