COLLEGE’S HISTORY

 

The widest road leading to the solution of all our problems is education. Gandhi ji said, “By education, I mean an all-round drawing out of the best in the child and man, body, mind and spirit.” Thus, education seeks to develop the innate inner capacities of man by imparting knowledge, understanding, skills, and interests, attitudes, and critical thinking. It helps to break existing moulds and renews, recreates newer and higher moulds. The objective in higher education is to promote equality, social justice, professional expertise, and leadership in all walks of life. The national policy on education also emphasizes on these aspects.

Since a college is a society in miniature, it is an agent of social change and social control. A socially just society is based on the principles of equality and solidarity, understands and values human rights, recognizes the dignity of every human being as well as involves economic egalitarianism. The three specific areas relating to social justice: access, participation and outcomes from education need to be given the most attention in relation to policies on education. Thus, the inclusion of social justice in education is an integral part of the education system.

As per the changing need of the hour, the state government justifiably established an undergraduate Co-educational government college in Kudi Bhagtasni in Jodhpur in the year 2020 in the campus of Govt Upper Primary School in Kudi Bhagtasni Housing Board Sector 6. The Jai Narain Vyas University granted it affiliation in the year 2020. Presently college provides bachelor’s degree in Humanities and Social science

Since its inception the college is pledged to the promotion and development of diverse academic, creative, and individual talents of the students.

It is about 12 km from the bus stand and about 9 km from the Railway station. It is also well connected to various parts of the adjoining rural area through wide road connectivity. 

With the establishment of the College, there has been quantum leap in the pursuance and transmission of knowledge as many new options have been made available to the students at affordable fees.  The college is doing an incredible job of empowering young minds through education and personality development to impact the world around them.
