Gender Sensitization Action Plan

Gender Sensitization Action Plan is formulated and complemented basically at the level of women cell in coordination with NSS and NCC. The task of Women Cell is to provide an open platform to the girl students, where they can openly bring their talents in front of everyone without any hesitation. Various competitions such as Debate, Speech, Poster,  Rangoli, Mehandi, Essay writing are organized by Women Cell so that the girl students get maximum opportunity to show their talent, whether it is in the field of art or mental skills. The work of Women Cell is not limited only to bring out the mental and physical skills of the girl students but also to solve the problems related to their mental and physical health according to the cause. The Women Cell provides a comfortable and friendly environment to the girl student where they can freely meet the members of Women Cell and talk about their physical and mental problems and can also find appropriate solutions.

NSS and NCC play an important and effective role to make the society aware about the issues related to women, because NSS and NCC have the ability to bring consciousness to a large section of the society through their awareness campaign and camps. Through their awareness campaigns, the crime and evils related to women in society are highlighted. Along with that the measures to free the society from these problems are also made aware to the general public.

Through various activities being done in NCC and NSS camps, students are made aware of gender equality, place and importance of women in society and their rights. They also get to know about the causes and prevention of crime against women. Girls are motivated to understand their rights and capabilities and to play equal participation in the society.
