INTRODUCTION

Bayana is an important cultural center of Braj Region of Rajasthan State. It is also known as Bijaygarh: a historical town in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. Shripath was its name in ancient times. Bayana is located in a small plain, between two hills range running more or less parallel to each other near the left Bank of the Ghambhir river at the distance of 45 km from Bharatpur. This college is surrounded by a number of villages and hamlets.

           In Bayana, It is a Co-education institute established in 13 December 1991 by the Government of Rajasthan. It is located at the wair Road, distance 5 km. from Bayana town. It is a small rural-urban education center of Tehsil Bayana. This college is enlisted by the UGC under section 2(F) (F/8/64/2007/CPP) and 12(B) of its act (1956) since 20th March 2007 and affiliated by Rajasthan University Jaipur since 28 February 1991. Now it is affiliated by Maharaja Surajmal Braj University Bharatpur since 23 November 2015. This institute is permanent affiliated in ARTS stream (except Geography). It is Government funded institution and controlled and administered by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Rajasthan.
