Sh. Dharam Chand Gandhi Jain Govt. College Behror was established in 1977 in the memory of late ShriDharam Chand Gandhi Jain ji a well known philanthropist of Rath region. In the begining it was started with the faculty of Arts. Keeping in view the demand for business education, the Commerce faculty was introduced in 1992. College got permanent affiliation for the Faculty of Arts in the year 1993 from the University of Rajasthan Jaipur. In 2013 college was upgraded to Post Graduate by introducing MA Political Science. Now the college is affiliated with newly opened Raj Rishi Bhartrihari matsya Univeristy Alwar. The college is recently corroborated with Science faculty in 2016.
