ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS

      The college has a well-qualified teaching faculty. More than 100 faculty members are Ph.D. The college has adequate infrastructure facilities. It has classrooms, laboratories, central library, computer center, playgrounds etc. There are four N.S.S. and two N.C.C. units to carry out extension and out reach programs of the college in the nearby rural areas with the help of student volunteers.Since the college is affiliated to Maharaja Surajmal Brij University, Bharatpur, Raj. 321001. It follows the syllabi framed by the University. A few teachers of the college are members and conveners of the Board of Studies of their respective departments in the university and hence contribute in the formulation of the syllabi in various subjects.The college organizes co-curricular activities such as field visits, educational trips, debates, declamation contests, seminars and various competitions for the students. 

     The college has adopted satisfactory teaching-learning and evaluation system. The teachers prepare their teaching annual plan and time-table which is communicated to the students in the beginning of the session. Methods of teaching, by and large, are conventional. However, certain departments are using innovative teaching aids like OHP, Models and Charts.

       Teachers are motivated to improve their professional skills by attending Orientation, Refresher courses, conferences, seminars, and workshops at various levels. Several teachers in various departments have substantial publications to their credit. Several of the faculty members are attending and presenting research papers in National and International seminars and conferences.

       The N.S.S. volunteers and N.C.C. cadets carry out the extension activities. At present there are four units of N.S.S. and two N.C.C. units each i.e. Infantry and Artillery. The broad areas of extension activities are community development, health and hygiene, social work, Blood donation camps, AIDS awareness etc. The college may extend its area-wise out reach programs to give it a larger cover for solving problems of the community on a larger scale. The activities of N.C.C. are quite satisfactory.
