- Ensuring a safe and cordial environment: A primary objective is to provide a secure and friendly atmosphere for all women in the college.
- Encouraging empowerment: The cell actively encourages and empowers women through various initiatives and programs.
- Addressing grievances: It acts as a platform to efficiently and effectively address the issues and concerns faced by female students and staff.

| Key activities and initiatives - Awareness programs: The cell organizes lectures, seminars, workshops, and discussions on a range of topics relevant to women's rights and well-being, such as legal rights, health, hygiene, and social issues like female foeticide and child marriage.
- Skill development: Efforts are made to enhance skills and promote entrepreneurial attitudes among female students.
- Gender sensitization: The cell actively promotes gender equality and challenges gender stereotypes through programs and activities designed to raise awareness and foster critical thinking.
- Internal Complaints Committee (ICC): In accordance with the UGC Regulations and the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013, the college has constituted an ICC to handle complaints related to sexual harassment with a zero-tolerance policy. The ICC ensures confidentiality and takes prompt action on such complaints.
- Focus on legal and social rights: The cell provides information about government support structures, legal provisions related to women's safety, and constitutional rights, aiming to prevent exploitation based on gender.
- Promoting well-being: The Women Cell also aims to address issues like nutrition, personal hygiene, mental health, and stress management, to promote a holistic well-being among female students and staff.
