INTRODUCTION

 Lohia  College is one of the best and the oldest co-educational colleges in Rajasthan. With huge and magnificent building for the college as well as for its hostel, adequate modern infrastructural  facilities are available. Predominantly a rural college, it caters to the needs of the students of even the adjoining districts of Jhunjhunu, Hanumangarh & Sikar. Students from even remote areas prefer to get admitted to this college in view of its reputation as an excellent center for learning. The college offers post graduate courses in many subjects.

We provide a safe and secure environment to the girls to pursue their studies without any fear.

There is committed teaching faculty. Academic standards are high. Research facilities are available in some of the subjects. The college provides a trouble- free environment for meaningful learning.

This college has also been selected by the Govt of Rajasthan as a Model College for being a Center of Excellence

Welcome to Government Lohia College Churu. Lohia College started its historical journey in the year 1945. Founded by Seth Kanhaiya Lal Lohia with the dream of providing education and empowering students so that they can be  financially independent, socially conscious, morally upright and emotionally balanced. 79 years is indeed a memorable milestone in the annals of this college. Lacs of students have passed within its hallowed portals, and an even greater band of proud and dedicated teachers have graced it with their presence. The imposing and majestic structure bears witness to the many historical moments. Above all, our paramount objective is student progress. We strive to create an environment where each and every student is given the necessary attention to achieve his/her individual success.Our curriculum focuses on the innovative use of science, commerce, and arts as the foundation for a rigorous and exciting multi-disciplinary learning experience for students. At Lohia College Churu, our focus is quality instruction provided in an environment safe and conducive to learning with mutual respect for all. As a principal of this historical college, the empowering part of my job is being able to work with a first class group of students and professionals on a daily basis who understand the true meaning of effective teaching & learning. To our esteemed staff, I wish to underscore the centrality of teaching and learning. Our roles as educators extend beyond the mere impartation of knowledge.
