STRENGTH

It is only and the newest Co-educational government college in this educational background area cantering to a large number of students. Students prefer this institute because of several reasons:

  10. The college has access to internet connectivity with broadband.
  11. This college has also study center of Kota open university.
  12. Many faculty members are awarded PhD/M.Phil. degrees.

  14. The college has various playgrounds like badminton; cricket etc to produce dedicated and disciplined players.

Weakness

  1. In this college more than 900 students admitted, the college has insufficient infrastructure.
  2. Teacher Student ratio is poor due to non- recruitment of faculty and revision of sanctioned posts.
  3. Shortage of funds for development and modernization of library, labs, classrooms and building.
  4. Around 90% of students are from rural areas that commute daily and face the hassle of public transport.
  5. The college principal has limited financial power for purchase.
  6. The college has not full-fledged and permanent principal.
  7. PG course is not available in the college, so students feel difficulty in completing PG, projects.
  8. Shortage of teaching faculty due to transfer and deputation.
  9. The process of college admission, syllabus, examinations and results are not completed in a timely manner by higher authorities.   

Opportunities

  1. Most of the students are from a rural background for which higher education is essential for a secure future and social mobility. The college is only govt co-education institution of the area repute, and attracts large number of students from surrounding towns, villages and cities.
  2. Subsidized fee and availability of various scholarships draws students for admissions.

  4. Professional development programmes and trainings for teaching and on teaching.
  5. Enhancing employability opportunities. Encouraging industry collaboration and consultancy.

  9. To establish industry Linkages, MOU and collaborations with external national and international agencies.
  10. Placement of students is a challenge due to non-availability of professional courses.
  11. Make them comfortable with English and other languages
  12. Manage (more than 400 ) non-collegiate during examination time.

 

Broad objectives of the College:

1. To provide quality education to the students, a vast majority of which comes from nearby rural areas. The College seeks to equip them with basic undergraduate degrees which are essential qualifications for diverse career options.

2. To provide a holistic development model to the students by covering variety of areas ranging from History, Political science, Economics and Commerce to Sciences.

 

3. To set new standards in delivery and imparting of education by making combined use of its manpower and technology.

 

4. To build interaction with reputed universities/colleges/institutions to focus on new strategies for enhancing employability of students.

 

5. To increase the employability amongst students by opening new job oriented courses like BCA, Vocational Courses and PG Courses.

 

6. To increase local area employability amongst students by opening new local opportunity based  courses like Agriculture and Mining Courses .
