Introduction
It was out of SA VIDYAY YA VIMUKTAYE that the universe was created. So the only guiding principle of life could be the education is that which has liberation as its aim or knowledge is that which liberates. Motto of the college: states the SA VIDYAY YA VIMUKTAYE same feeling. Our attempts to make sense of our experiences and to comprehend the world that we live in require that we recognize patterns, structures, and order in the world. Education, as a planned endeavour, aims at making human beings capable of becoming active, responsible, productive, and caring members of society. This college, as one of the prestigious college of this rural area, plays an instrumental role in the lives of the youth of the region, as it has always strived for the holistic development of its students. It is a government run institute working under aegis of the Commissionerate of College Education, Rajasthan and is affiliated to Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Working with a missionary zeal, the devoted and enthusiastic teachers of the college, along with the hardworking office and ministerial staff are trying selflessly to widen the mental horizons of its students.
Jaitaran region had also historical significance importance because of there was a battle of samel between Sher Shah Suri and Rao Maldeo Rathore. It has also renowned as a beautiful religious place for tourism like Kudki (Birthplace Meera), Bhaval Temple, Gayatri Pariwar Trust Temple.
Jaitaran is a place of historical significance situated on the National Highway no. 112. The place is glittered for high literacy rate in Pali district. Jaitaran area produces larger amount of raw material for Cement Industry. A good number of Cement Industry of Rajasthan is established in this locality. So Jaitaran has its name not only in education field but it is known for economic zone in the country map.
Govt. College, Jaitaran was sanctioned 22 June 2007 and started on 7th July, 2007. Upgraded as PG college in both faculty in july 2017. Since then it has been coming on with thing columns in higher education. It achieved mile stones on its good path.
The college is affiliated to Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur. The College has 10 academic departments running different UG Courses and now two PG courses. The college has 658 students enrolled. The College works under the purview of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Rajasthan.
