The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a youth development movement. It has enormous potential for nation building. The NCC provides opportunities to the youth of the country for their all-round development with a sense of Duty, Commitment, Dedication, Discipline and Moral Values so that they become able leaders and useful citizens. The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities with a distinct emphasis on Social Services, Discipline and Adventure Training. The NCC is open to all regular students of colleges on a voluntary basis.
After enrollment in NCC ,a cadet is given three year military training. In the first year cadets learn about military dresses, tern-about, march-past, discipline and general manners. To do these activities they undergoes training on every Tuesday from 8.00 a.m. to 12.30 noon by trained instructor staff from Kota & ANO. In the second year they are trained at local level and are sent to 10 days residential military training at training centers decided by battalion. Battalion also send them to combined annual training camp(CATC), BLC all India tracking camp, National Unity Camp, Paragliding, Adventure camp etc. After having successful completion of 10 days camp with 80 % attendance a cadet is eligible for "B" level certificate examination.
