The vision of S. B. R. M. Government College,Nagaur is to empower the students with academic excellence and foster the inclusive progress of rural youths and socially marginilised classes. The College is devoted to promoting academic learning with gender equity and social values with community engagements, enhanced by dedicated students keeping pace with change.
Our Mission -
The college aims to provide an affordable learning environment for all students, regardless of their social and economic status. It focuses on empowering rural youth through programs that build confidence, critical thinking, and overcoming challenges. The institution promotes genderequality by breaking traditional norms and nurturing an inclusive society. The institute plans to increase the number of subjects offered toundergraduate and postgraduate students, improve its teaching-learning strategy, methodology, and technology, and set standards for academic excellence.
Broad objectives of the College:
(i) Catering Rural Youth: Tocreate an environment supportive for youth development and provide best academic leaning resources with
infrastructural, sports facilities and co- curricular activities to enhance their knowledge and groom their personality. The college serves as an
"on the ground" approach to developing the skills and abilities necessary for student to succeed at a higher level. The support and guidance
through various collegeprograms such as campus placement has built the foundation needed to allow for students to envision college
opportunity as an attainable goal.
(ii) Breaking Gender Barriers:Thecollegeis increasinglyfocused on creating inclusive learning environments that promote diversity and gender
equality. This includes implementing policies and initiatives address gender bias, provide equal opportunities, and create safe spaces for
women to thrive. It also involves fostering an inclusive classroom environment where women feel valued, respected, and encouraged to
participate actively. Furthermore, integrating gender-sensitive seminars, awareness rallies, health and hygiene programs on gender-related
issues contribute to a more inclusive educational ecosystem.
(iii) Learner- Centric Education: To create learner- centric education by implementing active, cooperative, and inductive teaching by
continuing monitoring,technology, infrastructural facilities, and community partnershipswithdigitalized and smart learningthrough use of
updated software, Wi-Fi facilities and smart classrooms.Inclusion of ICT in teaching-learning process and to provide internet access to all
students.
(iv) Academic Excellence:In all of our academic endeavours, we aim for excellence. We are dedicated to being innovative in our teaching,
research, and community engagement. We strive to always better ourselves to order to reach excellence.
(v) Industrial Collaboration: To collaborate with industries to bridge the gap between students and job market by enabling influential
exchange of information between academicians and organizing industries with our campus placement cell. Conducting seminars, job fair and
general meet to raise interaction with corporate expert and cater the emerging needs of entrepreneurs.
(vi) Eco-Friendly Campus: To protect and preserve the environment and exist in harmony with the other elements of nature by expanding
campus lawns and installing Solid Waste Management (SWM) System and Solar Energy system.We are committed a responsibility to
protect and preserve the environment and exist in harmony with the other elements of nature.
(vii) Skill orientation andshort duration Courses:Impart skill oriented short duration training for youths to help them in developing their
technical and professional skills in various areas.
(viii) Research Based Education: Research based education for providing unbridled opportunities for research at the undergraduate level to foster
a culture of inquiry, discovery, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The college strengthens research infrastructure and instrumentation
facilities for inspiring students and faculty to embark on collaborative and individual research.
