PROGRAMME & COURSE OUTCOMES
-
The programme outcomes and course outcomes primarily aim to impart knowledge and skills essential for building students' competence and personality. The programme and course outcomes are evaluated, and corrective measures are taken. This involves analyzing feedback on the curriculum, teaching methods, progression to higher education, skill development programs, placements, and updates to the curriculum for competitive exams. Programme and course outcomes are also discussed and evaluated by the Academic Council and the Board of Studies.
Faculty members are encouraged to update their subject knowledge and keep pace with changing teaching methodologies and delivery trends by pursuing higher studies and participating in faculty development programs and seminars. A few postgraduate programmes include mandatory field trips. Other forms of experiential learning, such as workshops and seminars, are used to evaluate outcomes indirectly. All departments also analyze the annual exam results.
Student performance is reviewed, and departments take corrective measures. These measures include adopting new pedagogical methods, providing greater attention to weak students, and changing evaluation techniques. If a student shows unsatisfactory performance, remedial classes are conducted, and teachers provide simplified study materials.
