- Assessment of the learning levels of the students, after admission and organizes special programs to cater for the differential needs of students.
- At the beginning of the session, student orientation programmes take place to make students understand the educational, co-educational and co-curriculum activities of the college.
- Courses of the college are defined highlighting course objectives, programme specific objectives and programme outcomes. This provides a comprehensive understanding to the student right at the beginning of the course as to what should be the primary focus. It also helps them in self-evaluating their performance at the conclusion of the course. Feedback of the Course and teachers, given by students at the end of each semester provides an opportunity to identify any lacunae which can then be addressed.
- Along with this, information about the National Cadet Corps, NSS, Rovers and Rangers (the higher wings of Bharat Scout and guide) and sports-related impediments is carried out in the college. Newcomers are encouraged for pen duties as well as character and career building. Students are motivated for skill development and preparation of competitive examinations through employees orientation programmes with the help of Skill Development cell in the college.
2. Student-centric methods, such as experiential learning, participative learning and problem-solving methodologies are used for enhancing learning experiences.
- Teachers make classes as interactive as possible and encourage innovative thought and novel interpretations. Audio- Visual methodology, Language Lab, smart Classroom, departmental workshops, seminars, quizzes, question- answers sessions are organized by the college time to time.
- Field Work and Projects works are some of the means utilize by the Departments to provide experiential and participative learning. Class tests are conducted in the college regularly to understand the exam pattern and memorize the concept. Internal assessments are so planned so as to encourage students to work independently.
- Written Assignments are required to be submitted by students and these need to be done individually by researching on the given topic so as to enhance confidence, develop writing skills.Tests are also conducted in the form of MCQs. It helps them in self-evaluating their performance at the conclusion of the course. Feedback of the Course and teachers, given by students at the end of each year provides an opportunity to identify any lacunae which can then be addressed. Additional classes are also organized for the development of the students for the inquisitive mind.
3. ICT- enabled tools including online resources for effective teaching and learning processes used by Teachers.
- College has a diverse set of ICT tools to communicate, create, disseminate, store, and manage information. For the means to fulfil the idea of smart education.
- The college has access of 5 smart class rooms, one computer lab, Rajiv Gandhi e-content cell. In some contexts, ICT has also become integral to the teaching-learning interaction, through such approaches as replacing chalkboards with interactive digital whiteboards, using students’ own smartphones or other devices for learning during class time, and the “GAYAN SUDHA" Portal where students watch lectures at home on the computer and use classroom time for more interactive exercises.
- Graduates who are less familiar with digital culture are increasingly at a disadvantage in the national and global economy thus the college provides best possible way of learning through ICT Tools.
- Digital literacy—the skills of searching for, discerning, and producing information, as well as the critical use of new media for full participation in society—has thus become an important consideration for curriculum frameworks of the college.
4.The extension activities in the neighbourhood community in terms of impact and sensitizing the students to social issues and holistic development.
- Every Year, programme are organized under which students and staff participate voluntarily in community based activities with neighborhood.
- NSS Cell and NCC unit have been set-up for the students to participate, integrate and learn. Various awareness programs, workshops, rallies and Nukkad natak with themes like cleanliness, green environment & tree plantation, gender sensitization, traffic rule awareness and digital payment, and empowerment of girls and women are organized.
- Continuous voluntary activities by students to maintain cleanliness in and around the Campus, create awareness about the role of clean environment in human health. Blood Donation camps have been organized. Awareness of Voter Rights, Awareness to Terminate Tobacco and Cancer, Health Checkup Camp, Training of Rural Women.
- Impact & Sensitization:- Exposure to extension and outreach activities sensitize the students towards social issues and also to legal and social remedies for matters like domestic violence, dowry, child abuse, beggars, female child, victims of violence, old and infirm, refugees and displaced persons etc. The activities conducted lead imbibing the values of social responsibility.
5. Describe the Facilities for teaching-learning. viz., classrooms, laboratories, computing equipment, cultural activities, yoga, games and sports etc.
- The College practices a teaching methodology which focuses on imparting education through a student centric approach. This methodology helps to transform students from being relegated to the role of passive recipients to active and involved stake holders, apart from boosting their confidence and encouraging independence.
- There are 5 smart classroom to fulfill Audio visualizers in the college and 22 classrooms, 06 laboratories, computer labs. Various cultural activities are organized to represent the tribal culture by the Women's Cultural Committee.
- The sports officers and NCC instructor,performed Yoga, pranayam and sports activities.
6. Elaborate on the Library facilities available in the college
- The library consists of 44200 books a subscription of 01 e-Journals and Journals available to fulfil content related facilities.
- Automation of library with air cooled reading room.
7. Effectively reflects leadership in various practices like - list of - decentralization and participative management
- Student representation in administration is an important initiative taken by the college. Representatives of students serve as members on committees like Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Internal Complaints Committee, Sexual Harassment cell, Grievance Cell in order to involve them in the decision making process and maintain transparency apart from inculcating a sense of responsibility in them.
- To conduct various activities there is a provision to form committees as per the need of work. Students are motivated to take active participation in extracurricular activities.
