                           Hada Rani Govt (PG) College is named after Historic Lady Hadi Rani of Salumber who sacrificed her life to save the Rajaputana empire of Mewar.The College was established in 1991 by State Govt. and local people's contribution to impart higher education to the people of town and nearby villagers,a mile stone to  uplift the Tribal society of Southern Rajasthan. The location of college is chosen such that it covers the Tribal society of Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara and Pratapgarh districts.

                              College Offers Admission in Science,Commerce and Arts (UG courses) & PG courses (HINDI Lit., A.B.S.T., MATH (SEMESTER Based)  strictly on the basis of merit and reservation. Goverment Hadi Rani College, Salumber. as its name shows, it is embeded among the Hilly tracts of Aravali ranges. It is situated in salumber about  72 km from Udaipur district Head Quarter, Recognised by  UGC and categorised under section 2(f)an12(b).

                                 College is affiliated  to MOHAN LAL SUKHADIA UNIVERSITY OF UDAIPUR and has ample  strength of 2450 students. The aim of college is to impart Education to Rural floks of near by villages. The college is accredited by 'C' grade by NAAC(2005). The College has large land area of 32 Bighas. It has two blocks visually Academic and Administrative block.It has permanent faculty recruited by  State  Govt. through its Nodal agency RPSC. College has two hostels.one built by UGC under XI plan exclusively for girls(intake 25 girls) and another built by tribal area devpoment fund for girls (intake 50 girls).
