Sports are very essential for every human life which keeps them fit and fine and physical strength also improves the personality of people. Sports are important in Education because they help students develop skills that are useful in the classroom and in life.

                      Sports is being promoted in our college (BBD GOVT COLLEGE CHIMANPURA,SHAHPURA) from many years. All the facilities for sports activities in BBD Govt College are given at a good level. It has various outdoor and Indoor grounds and equipment’s for each kind of sport, due to which the students of our college have been taking active part in Sports competitions and performing at high level in sport like Kho-Kho, Kabbadi, Cricket, Athletic, long jump, high jump, vollyball etc.The college has a separate Physical Education Department, The Physical Education Department has a huge sports complex, with indoor and outdoor games facilities as a part of extracurricular activities.

The college has a huge sports ground with playfields for outdoor games and Indoor Games:
