About College:
Government College, Sirohi is recognized by UGC, New Delhi under Sections 2(f) and 12 (b). Presently, the college is affiliated to Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. The NAAC had conferred an "A" Grade in 2015 and B++ Grade to this college in 2020. The college runs Undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science. Postgraduate classes in Science (Chemistry and Zoology) and Arts (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, History, Geography and Political Science) are being taught for more than two decades. In the session, 2013-14 one more feather in the cap of Government College Sirohi had been added in the form of a Postgraduate program in Sociology. In current Session 2022-23 two new courses at PG level have been added, i.e. M.Sc Zoology and M.A. Geography. Ph.D. scholars are registered with faculty members in Chemistry, Geology, Hindi, Political Science, Geography, and Sanskrit departments. Presently about 2895 students are registered as regular students in the college. The average result of the College is approx. 95% in exams.
The college is also running the Distance Education Center of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU).
