About College

Rameshwari Devi Girls  College is located in Bharatpur city. The College is affiliated to the Maharaja Surajmal Brij University, Bharatpur. Its academic calendar is in consonance with the calendar prescribed by the University and the College Education Department of the Government of Rajasthan. Recognized by the UGC under 2f and 12B in March 1985, the College has been founded with a view to providing higher education to girls. The College offers diverse programs through 20 departments belonging to three faculties viz, Arts, Science and Commerce. Training programs like RSLDC, remedial coaching classes for ST/SC/ OBC/ Minority, NET/SET coaching classes, etc are also offered in the college. University Grants Commission had conferred the status of  'College with Potential for Excellence’ to Rameshwari Devi Girls College. The college also offers add-on courses in journalism and computer application. Every effort is taken to provide a clean and healthy environment in the college.  The College has a faculty of 32 teachers of whom 21 are females and 11 males. 21 of the faculty members are Ph. D, 02 possess M. Phil, and the rest of the 09 are post graduates.
