The NSS Unit of Government Girls College, Chittorgarh comprises 100 enthusiastic volunteers who actively contribute to the community's welfare and personal development. This unit aligns with the NSS motto “Not Me, But You”, promoting a spirit of selfless service among students. The NSS Unit aims to empower students while contributing positively to society, fostering empathy, responsibility, and active citizenship among young women.

Key Objectives of NSS :

Develop leadership and teamwork skills among students.

Promote the idea of service to society without bias.

Raise awareness about social issues, environmental conservation, and health.

Community Development: Organizing cleanliness drives, literacy programs, and campaigns for rural upliftment.

Environmental Awareness: Tree plantation campaigns, plastic-free initiatives, and waste management programs.

Villages or Slums: NSS units often adopt urban slums as our college has “Kacchi Basti” to ensure sustained development through education and health support.

These activities help students become responsible citizens and contribute towards nation-building while developing practical skills and empathy.
