INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL

The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) was established with the objective of enabling students to start their own entrepreneurial ventures.

• The Cell organises “Saksham," a short-term skill enhancement  programme  for the students, in collaboration with the Career-Counseling & Placement Cell, the Women Cell,  Language Club and other committees . All these units work in synchronisation to plan and execute their action plan to organise short-term programmes, with a special focus on keeping a fine balance between the curricular and extracurricular activities in the academic calendar of the college. 

• IEDC  collaborates with other agencies to organise  vocational training programmes to equip students to kickstart their entrepreneurial journey. In the academic session 2022-2023, the cell and Department of Zoology jointly organised a one-year Training programme on vermicomposting in collaboration with the Social Welfare &Integrated Development Society (SWIDS), Sriganganagar, under an MOU for Entrepreneurship Skill Training Programme.
