Shrimati Panadevi Morijawala Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Kotputli was established in 1997. By the great inspiration of the late freedom fighter and former MLA Shri Mukti Lal Modi. The college building was constructed by 'Bhamashah' Shri. Laxmi Narayan Morijawala. By the efforts of former MLA and parliamentary Secretary Shri Ram Swaroop Kasana, Science faculty building was constructed by the state Government. Science faculty was started in the college from the session 2010-11 onwards.

In 1997 there were only 107 girls, but in the current academic session 1857 girls are studying in the college. Library, Games & Sports, NSS, Rangering, Women Cell, Youth Development Centre, Planning Form, Laboratory facilities are available in the college. The college is recognized under 2 f and 12 b act of UGC and is a RUSA Beneficiary Institute.

Kotputli lies in the Northeastern part of Rajasthan in the district of Jaipur.It is a municipal town, located in between the National capital of India, New Delhi and the State capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur on National Highway 8. It is 110 kms towards Delhi from Jaipur. The distance between Kotputli and Jaipur is 110 kms and distance between Kotputli and Delhi is 165 kms . By road route Kotputli is connected to Alwar, Narnaul, Khetri, Sikar etc.
