INSTITUTIONAL DISTINCTIVENESS
Shrimati Panadevi Morijawala Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Kotputli was established in 1997 by the great inspiration of the late freedom fighter and former MLA Shri Mukti Lal Modi. The college building was constructed by ‘Bhamashah’ Shri. Laxmi Narayan Morijawala. By the efforts of former MLA and parliamentary Secretary Shri Ram Swaroop Kasana, Science faculty building was constructed by the state Government. Science stream was started in the college from the session 2010-11 onwards. In 1997 there were only 107 girls enrolled, but in the current academic session about 2000 girls are studying in the college. Library, Games & Sports, NSS, Women Cell, Youth Development Centre, Planning Form,Laboratory facilities are available in the college. The college is recognized under 2 f and 12 b act of UGC and is a RUSA Beneficiary Institute.
The institute has been accredited by NAAC with grade ‘B’, and all of its eligible UG programs have been accredited in all successive cycles. Vision of the college is to make the institution a center of Excellence in the field of higher education for girls by ensuring high quality of teaching-learning experience achieved through a combination of: Excellent academic training.

Empowering women through college activities The college has taken up following programs for empowering women:
1.Regular dialogue with the students during orientation sessions and various programs in the college in addition to classroom interactions.
2.Focus on family values and moral values through seminars.
3.Conducting Yoga and physical fitness sessions.
4.The college has started plantation of fruit bearing trees, medicinal plants for sensitizing the students on modern approach to farming involving herbal farming, bio-compost pit making, horticulture, etc.
5.Conducting seminars in the college on current issues such as IPR etc.
