ABOUT US

  This college was established in  July 1999. In the beginning it was started in a small place in Modi Quarters. Its building was constructed by Shri ShreeKishan Modi ‘Babuji’, the founder of Krishna Charitable Trust. Babuji donated an extra land of 2200 square yard to build Science block for the convenience of girls in which the magnificent Science Block was constructed in collaboration with Babuji and state government. In this block Science classes are running . The distance between the main block and the science block is approximately 100 meters. The inauguration of the both buildings was done on 17^th March 2011 by Shri Mohan Lal Modi (Ex. M.L.A.), Shri Vishnu Modi (Ex. M.P.& M.L.A.) and Shri Keshav Dev Modi (The Chairman of Municipality, Neemkathana).

                        Smt.Kamla Modi

            Smt Kamla Devi Modi was born in 1927. Her father Shri Matadeen Chaudhary was ‘Siriktedar’ and grandfather Shri SitaRam Chaudhary was ‘Girdawar’of contemporary Khetri teretory.She was educated up to 8^th standard. In the age of 14 years and 6 months she was married to Shri Shreekishan Modi in 1941. At that time Shri Modi was of eighteen. It is believed that the arrival of Smt. Kamla into Modi family was very auspicious and the Modi family proceeded on the path of successive progress. In 1971 Shri Modi was elected M.P. from Sikar.

          Smt. Kamla is recognized as the goddess of Luxmi (Kamla). Smt Kamla gave birth two sons Vishnu Modi and Anand Modi and two daughters Snehlata and Kavita. On 23^rd May 1996, she departed for celestial piece leaving behind a prosperous family. This college is named as Govt.Kamla Modi Girls College after her name.
