Why we're the Best

Govt. Girls College Taranagar was established to enhance and promote higher education for rural girls. We are different from many such institutes because here each employee takes responsibility so that students' problems are solved instantly and student especially new students do not have to move one cell to another for a simple problem. Since the college is located in a city surrounded by villages with least connectivity, the problem of conveyance is fierce and many a times tense guardians call after college time. Every staff member attends such calls without raising a brow and most importantly whenever possible, problems are solved telephonically and a student and/or her guardian have not to visit office unnecessarily. Whether it is a visit or welcome party or farewell party or any other function, staff members play role of mentors to make such programmes successful and help that innovative trait express. We, here frequently organize special technical sessions focused on development of practical approach such as internet use, awareness about cyber crime, how to avoid and oppose sexual harassment, access and study of government documents, applying for  different (online) forms etc.
