Vision of the Institution is to shape and empower students in the recreation of knowledge, values and social responsibility and help them achieve excellence in various fields, thereby also preparing them to face global challenges. The Institution as never tailed off in inspiring the students in the pursuit of knowledge, values, and social responsibility. The Institute has established its distinctive approach towards this comprehensive Vision by modelling it in the form of service to the society, by means of certificate courses or by allowing the students to organize events to develop their skills, multidisciplinary project development, Entrepreneurship development, Ethical and Human value development. The college functions in a very democratic manner. “By the students, for the students and of the students”, has been the motto and the driving force behind all policy decisions of the institution. Intellectual engagement of students in each and every activity, accepting suggestions and feedback and empowering students by de-centralising processes have been the core values of the institution. Coordination between management, staff, non-teaching staff and students has created an organisational culture, which fosters innovation and enterprise for the successful implementation of the institution’s vision and mission. Development of student centric teaching and learning model and reversing the pyramid to take students at the top of the pyramid has been a successful strategy. The institution organizes various workshops, programs, seminars etc. that provide opportunities to the students to conceptualize, plan and implement their ideas in sync with the changing dynamics of the world of law. The institution encourages student internship, article-assistantship and other engagement to expose students to experiential learning. Students are also encouraged to volunteer for social projects. The vision and thrust of organization is reflected through the following key activities and initiatives:
- The Institution arranges skill enhancement programs to develop their skills for example – Personality enrichment, Employability skill development, Entrepreneurial development, Language skill development, preparation and guidance for various competitive exams etc.,
- Students at the Law degree courses take up Internships in Courts and under legal authorities and pursue their project which gives them hands on training in their field of interest.
- Entrepreneurial Development Cell crucially works on generating the excitement in the young brains to produce innovation and thus laying the stones for entrepreneurship. Budding entrepreneurs are motivated for start ups and thus are self-sufficient and independent financially and can either support their education or family.
- Ethical value is the foremost interest of the institution, Students are motivated to visit orphanages, old age homes, and serve the local adopted school or village. Students have never been insensitive to the social crisis during the natural devastations.
- The Vision of the Institute focuses on four aspects essentially: Global Standards, Value based Education, Interdisciplinary Research, and Sustainable Development.
- The positive outcomes are achieved by designing the curriculum to meet the global requirements and through teaching-learning methods blended with ethical values.
- The structured induction of the student into the curriculum enables to visualize the career opportunities and the approach towards achieving them.
- The institute provides a platform to business Start-ups to develop their ideas into commercially viable products and facilitates the students to work on innovative project ideas.
- Student representation on various key statutory and non – statutory committees such as admission, IQAC, placement, other committee and so on for their valuable suggestions and feedback.
- Active involvement in planning the logistics and setting up helpdesk at the time of admission to resolve queries of students and parents showing students empowerment.
- Participation in anti-ragging squad to provide trust and confidence in the institutional culture.
- Active involvement of students in academic and non- Academic activities by constituting committees to develop leadership qualities.
- Students Council and their membership in institutional committees like Women Sexual Harassment Cell and Complaint against SC/ST Students enhances administrative skills.
- Creating conducive environment for participation in research competition and conferences at national and inter -national level.
- Organising Guest lectures, consulate visits/meetings of Senior Lawyers, Experienced Faculties from nearby renowned Institutions, various organisation heads and Judicial Officers to provide exposure for future opportunities at global level.
- Participation in various competitions and festivals to display talent in the area of performing arts, fine arts and literature.
- Promoting active involvement of each and every student in legal aid camp and approach to the remotely situated people.
- Bridge the gap between the theoretical study and practical application, the students are well verse with the courtroom. Therefore, organising intra- moot courts within the college and provide opportunities for exposure in moot court and debate competitions.
- Celebrate various occasions like Constitutional day, International women’s day, to imbibe ethical value, abide by rule of law and promote humanity.
- Contribute towards legal development by involving students and faculties in analysis and suggesting new laws in the society. To understand the lacunas in existing laws and shape the present legal system.
- Promote more research projects by the students /faculties and encourage the MOOC system in the institution.
- Organising intra collegiate events in such as Moot Court Competition, Debates and Discussions on Legal issues, Quiz and other such events gives an opportunity to students to showcase their communication, confidence and leadership skills.
