PRINCIPAL MESSAGE

Dear Students,                                           

“ The law students of today is the lawyer of tomorrow, take care of law education and the legal system will take care of itself.” It is widely acknowledge that the general standard of legal profession are on the decline and there is presently a need to improve legal education qualitatively.

A law student who wants to take up the noble profession of law cannot afford to remain ignorant about professional ethics that is accepted to help him in playing the multifaceted role of and advocate effectively. If a member of the legal profession maintains the high standard of professional ethics, it will not only enable him achieve unimpeachable professional standard but will also help him in enhancing the image of the legal profession and thereby contribute to the legal system.

The situation highlighted above is surely an indication of the fact that the time has come for introspection by judges, lawyers, law teachers and law students and to make concerted efforts to restore the past glory of profession and judiciary one again in the interest of all concerned.
