Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering at Government Polytechnic Colege,Alwar. Civil engineering discipline was introduced, at GPC Alwar  in 1960.The current sanctioned strength  in civil branch is  60. 

The Department aims to provide students with a balance of intellectual and practical expertise that enables them to serve the worldwide construction industry as well as the societal needs.

Majority of the graduates are well placed in government secor of  India as well as in private industry. Many of them have also gone for higher studies in the country . Right from its inception, the Department has been doing its best to bring about excellence in academics.
