Welcome to the Department of Electrical Engineering at Government Polytechnic Colege,Alwar. Electrical engineering discipline was introduced, at GPC Alwar in 1960.The current sanctioned strength in Electrical branch is 40. The Department has well equipped laboratories such as Electrical Machines laboratory, Electrical Measurements laboratory, Electrical Maintenance Laboratory, Electrical workshop & Computer laboratory.
The Department aims to provide students with a balance of Theoritical and practical knowledge that enables them to fullfill the need of industry. Students passed out from this department get excellent placements through campus selection in the core area industries.Alumni of Electrical Engineering Department are very well placed in all sectors and have reached to the top level positions in the state/centre government organizations and in the public sector undertakings.
