ELECRICAL ENGINEERING

The Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) is one of the major Department of GPC Jhunjhunu since its inception in 2013. The department is very active in teaching and projects  in the areas of Advance Elecrical Machines, Design and Drawing of All Elecrical Power System and Control System, Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation System, Layout of All Electrical Grid Sub-Station, Design of Electical Machines, Site Selection and Layout of Grid Sub-Station, Power Electronics and Power Systems. The Engineers educating from the department spend their three-year  period under the influence of some of the most experienced faculty members. Department is supervised by Sh. R.P. Maheshwari.

Core Curriculum :

The syllabus is well up to date and be spoke for the needs of the industry and follows the guidelines laid down by AICTE, New Delhi.

It includes Elements of Power System, Power Electronics, Electric Drives, Power Quality Control System,  Quality System and Management, Non-conventional Energy Sources, Simulation of Electrical Machines.

The department has Five well-equipped laboratories.

Electrical Workshop

Power Elecronics Lab

In addition to a central institute library, the department offers the facility of books on all areas of Electrical engineering.
