About the Department The Department of Electrical Engineering has been playing vital role in producing diploma holders of highest caliber ever since it was established. Electrical engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. Electrical engineers work in a very wide range of industries and the skills required are likewise variable. These range from basic circuit theory to the management skills required of a project manager. The tools and equipment that an individual engineer may need are similarly variable, ranging from a simple voltmeter to a top end analyzer to sophisticated design and manufacturing software. The Department runs courses according to syllabus of Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan to cater to ever challenging needs of technical and skill excellence in all areas of Electrical Engineering. A Student has to go through Classroom lectures, Tutorials, Practicals, Practical training, Projects etc.The department is Headed by Mr. P.K. Rai Laboratories The infrastructure and lab facilities are upgraded from time to time and provide adequate opportunities for students to learn and innovate .The department has well equipped and well maintained laboratories accornding to the curriculum. Currently following laboratories are : Electrical Machine Lab, Basic Electrical Engineering Lab, Electrical Measurement Lab, Electrical Workshop. Faculties
