POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDENTS BELONGING TO MINORITY COMMUNITY

OBJECTIVE OF THE SCHEME

योजना का उद्देश्य अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्गों के मेधावी छात्रों को छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान करना है ताकि उन्हें उच्च शिक्षा के लिए बेहतर अवसर प्रदान किया जा सके, उच्च शिक्षा में उनकी प्राप्ति की दर में वृद्धि हो �"र उनकी रोजगार क्षमता में वृद्धि हो सके।

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.

ELIGIBILITY FOR SCHOLARSHIP-

1. पिछली अंतिम परीक्षा में कम से कम 50% अंक या समकक्ष ग्रेड प्राप्त किया है 
2. मुस्लिम, सिख, ईसाई, बौद्ध, जैन �"र पारसी (पारसी) अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय से संबंधित उम्मीदवार
3. चालू वित्त वर्ष के दौरान सभी स्रोतों से पारिवारिक आय 2 रुपये लाख प्रति वर्ष से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए। 

 

1. not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
2. Candidates belonging to Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi (Parsi) minority community
3. Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 2 lakh per annum during the current financial year.

NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS:

कुल पांच (05) लाख छात्रवृत्तियों को 'Fresh' छात्रवृत्ति के रूप में वितरित करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है, इसके अलावा, नवीनीकरण छात्रवृत्तियां भी हैं। 

A total of five (05) lakh scholarships have been targeted to be disbursed as 'Fresh' scholarships, in addition, renewal scholarships

AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP:

* For 10 months in an academic year.

छात्रवृत्ति शुल्क की दर :प्रवेश + ट्यूशन	10,000/- प्रति वर्ष वास्तविक के अधीन
अनुरक्षण भत्ता	रु. 380/- प्रति माह (छात्रावास के लिए), रु. 230/- प्रति माह (डे स्कॉलर के लिए)*

CRITERIA OF SELECTION:

Fresh : चूंकि एक वर्ष में उपलब्ध अल्पसंख्यकों के लिए छात्रवृत्ति की संख्या निश्चित �"र सीमित है, इसलिए चयन के लिए वरीयता निर्धारित करना आवश्यक है। आपस में चयन वेटेज अंकों के बजाय गरीबी को दिया जाना है । समान आय के मामले में, आवेदक की 'जन्म तिथि' मानदंड से योग्यता उत्पन्न की जाएगी (वरिष्ठ को प्राथमिकता दी जाती है)।

Renewal : नवीनीकरण मामलों के लिए कोई योग्यता सूची नहीं है। नवीनीकरण आवेदक को छात्रवृत्ति मिलेगी यदि किसी ने अपने पिछले वर्ष की परीक्षा�"ं (उसी संस्थान में �"र उसी पाठ्यक्रम में) में 50% प्राप्त किया है �"र उसका आवेदन सभी अधिकारियों (अल्पसंख्यक मामलों के मंत्रालय द्वारा निर्दिष्ट) द्वारा सत्यापित किया गया है �"र राज्य सरकारों/संघ राज्य क्षेत्रों द्वारा अनुमोदित है|

Fresh : As the number of scholarships for minorities available in a year is fixed and limited, it is necessary to lay down preference for selection. Inter-se selection weightage is to be given to poverty rather than marks. In case of same income, merit shall be generated from ‘Date of Birth’ criteria of applicant (senior is preferred).

Renewal : There is no merit list generation for renewal cases. Renewal applicant will get the scholarship if one has obtained 50% in his/her previous year’s examinations (at the same institute and in same course) and his/her application is verified by all authorities (as designated by Ministry of Minority Affairs) and approved by State Governments/UTs

PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING:

पात्रता शर्तों को पूरा करने वाले उम्मीदवार को राष्ट्रीय छात्रवृत्ति पोर्टल (NSP) पर आवेदन प्रक्रिया शुरू होने पर Online आवेदन करना आवश्यक है।

The candidate fulfilling the eligibility conditions is required to apply online on National Scholarship Portal (NSP) after initiation of application process.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED WHILE APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIP :

1. Proof of bank account in the name of student.
2. Caste certificate.
3. Income certificate.
4. Parent declaration claiming Scholarship for two girl children only per family.
5. Bonafide student of Institution.
6. Scanned copy of marks sheet of last academic qualification
7. Scanned copy of 10th marks sheet.
8. Domicile Crtificate

 

Please Note- 

• अर्हक परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने के वर्ष �"र डिप्लोमा पाठ्यक्रम में प्रवेश के सत्र के बीच का अंतराल दो वर्ष से अधिक नहीं होना चाहिए।

The gap period between the year of passing the qualifying examination and the session of admission in diploma course should not be more than two years.

• यदि कोई उम्मीदवार बाद के वर्ष में अनुत्तीर्ण/ड्रॉप आउट हो जाता है, तो वह आगे की छात्रवृत्ति के लिए पात्र नहीं होगा।

If a candidate failed/ drop out in subsequent year, she will not be eligible for further scholarship.
