OBJECTIVE OF THE SCHEME

अनाथों , कोविड -19 के कारण मारे गए माता-पिता के बच्चों , सशस्त्र बलों �"र केंद्रीय अर्धसैनिक बलों कार्रवाई (शहीद) में शहीद हुए हैं के बच्चों को शिक्षा को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए प्रोत्साहन �"र सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए AICTE द्वारा यह योजना लागू की जा रही है। यह ऐसे प्रत्येक बच्चे को AICTE से मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थानों �"र पाठ्यक्रमों में शिक्षा के माध्यम से आगे पढ़ने �"र सफल भविष्य की तैयारी करने का अवसर देने का एक प्रयास है।

The Scheme is being implemented by AICTE to provide encouragement and support to orphans, wards of parents died due to Covid-19, wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed) to pursue education. This is an attempt to give every such child, an opportunity to study further and prepare for a successful future through education in AICTE Approved institutions and courses.

ELIGIBILITY FOR SCHOLARSHIP-

उम्मीदवार निम्नलिखित में से किसी एक श्रेणी से होना चाहिए

1. उम्मीदवार निम्नलिखित में से किसी एक श्रेणी से होना चाहिए
   • अनाथ
   •  कोविड-19 के कारण माता-पिता में से किसी एक या दोनों की मृत्यु हो गई
   •  कार्रवाई में शहीद हुए सशस्त्र बलों �"र केंद्रीय अर्धसैनिक बलों के वार्ड (शहीद)
2. सभी स्रोतों से पारिवारिक आय आवेदन के वित्तीय वर्ष के दौरान प्रति वर्ष 8 लाख रुपये से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए। । राज्य/संघ राज्य क्षेत्र सरकार द्वारा जारी एक वैध आय प्रमाण पत्र संलग्न किया जाना है।
3. उम्मीदवार वर्तमान में AICTE से मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान में डिग्री/डिप्लोमा के पाठ्यक्रम में नियमित रूप से अध्ययनरत हो |

 

1. The candidate should be from any one of the following categories:
   • Orphan
   • Either or both parents died due to Covid-19
   • Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed)
2. Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8 Lakh per annum during the financial year of the application. A valid income certificate issued by State/UT Government is to be enclosed.
3. The candidate should be currently studying in the AICTE Approved institutions and courses at Degree/ Diploma level in regular mode.

NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS:

उपरोक्तानुसार पात्र अभ्यर्थियों को प्रत्येक वर्ष डिप्लोमा छात्रों के लिए अधिकतम 1000 छात्रवृत्तियां प्रदान की जाएंगी

A maximum of 1000 scholarships for Diploma Students will be awarded every year to eligible candidates as above.

AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP:

अध्ययन के प्रत्येक वर्ष के लिए रु.50,000/-  प्रति वर्ष अर्थात ३ वर्ष डिप्लोमा छात्रों के लिए कॉलेज शुल्क के भुगतान, कंप्यूटर, स्टेशनरी, किताबें, उपकरण, सॉफ्टवेयर आदि की खरीद के लिए एकमुश्त राशि के रूप में। छात्रावास शुल्क �"र चिकित्सा शुल्क आदि के बदले कोई अन्य अतिरिक्त अनुदान देय नहीं होगा। । यदि छात्र वर्तमान में डिप्लोमा स्तर पर दूसरे / तीसरे वर्ष में अध्ययन कर रहा है, तो छात्रवृत्ति की अवधि क्रमशः 2/1 वर्ष तक कम हो जाएगी।

Rs. 50,000/- per annum for every year of study i.e. 3 years for Diploma Students as lump sum amount towards payment of college fee, purchase of computer, stationeries, books, equipment, software etc. No other additional grant will be payable in lieu of hostel charges and medical charges etc. In case student is currently studying  in the 2nd/ 3 rd year at diploma level, the duration of the scholarship will be reduced to 2/1 year respectively.

CRITERIA OF SELECTION:

उम्मीदवार का चयन पूरी तरह से एआईसीटीई द्वारा अनुमोदित किसी भी संस्थान से डिप्लोमा कोर्स करने के लिए अर्हक परीक्षा की योग्यता के आधार पर किया जाएगा, यानी 10 वीं / समकक्ष परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंकों के प्रतिशत के आधार पर।

Tie को हल करने की विधि (डिप्लोमा स्तर के लिए)-

Tie तोड़ने के लिए अपनाई जाने वाली प्रक्रिया (समान पर्सेंटाइल) इस प्रकार होगी: -

• आयु: यदि योग्यता परीक्षा पर्सेंटाइल tie को नहीं तोड़ती है, तो बड़ी उम्र के उम्मीदवार होंगे उच्च स्थान दिया जाएगा।
• वार्षिक पारिवारिक आय: यदि उपरोक्त विधि से tie नहीं टूटते हैं,�"र फिर कम वार्षिक पारिवारिक आय वाले उम्मीदवार को उच्च स्थान दिया जाएगा।

The selection of candidate will be carried out solely on the basis of merit of qualifying examination to pursue the Diploma course from any of the AICTE approved institutions i.e. on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the 10th / equivalent examination.

Method of Resolving ties (For Diploma Level):

The procedure to be adopted for breaking ties (similar percentiles) shall be as under: -

A) Age: In case qualifying examination percentile does not break ties, then the candidate of elder age will be ranked higher.

B) Annual family income: If above method does not break ties, and then the candidate with lower annual family income will be ranked higher.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED WHILE APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIP :

A. For Orphan Candidates:

(i) Death Certificate of Father & Mother

(ii) Orphan Certificate issued by SDM/ Tehsildar.

(iii) Bonafide Certificate issued by the institution.

(iv) 10+2/ equivalent and 10th Mark sheet for Degree Level and 10th/ equivalent for Diploma Level

(v) Category Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL).

B. For Candidates whose either or both Parents Died due to Covid-19:

(i) Death Certificate of Father/Mother or both explicitly mentioning that the death was due to Covid-19.

(ii) If one parent (Father or Mother) is alive, current year income certificate explicitly mentioning that income of family less than 8 Lakh.

(iii) Bonafide Certificate issued by the institution.

(iv) 10th or equivalent qualifying marks sheet  marks sheet.

(v) Category Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL).

C. For Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed)

(i) Death Certificate.

(ii) Shaheed Certificate issued by the Armed Forces/ Central Paramilitary Forces.

(iii) Bonafide Certificate issued by the institution.

(iv) Current year income certificate explicitly mentioning that income of family less than 8 Lakh.

(v) 10+2/ equivalent and 10th Mark sheet for Degree Level and 10th/ equivalent for Diploma Level.

(vi) Category Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL).

Please Note- 

शॉर्टलिस्ट किए गए उम्मीदवारों की अस्थाई सूची AICTE Web Portal पर अपलोड की जाएगी। यदि उम्मीदवार के पास छात्रवृत्ति की योग्यता सूची के बारे में कोई प्रश्न है, तो वे एक महीने के भीतर अपनी शिकायत दर्ज करा सकते हैं। AICTE की website पर मेरिट सूची के प्रकाशन की तारीख से एक महीने की अवधि के बाद मेरिट सूची के संबंध में किसी भी प्रश्न पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।

Provisional list of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the AICTE web portal. In case, candidate has any query about merit list of scholarship, they may raise their grievances within a month. No query regarding merit list will be entertained after one month duration from the date of publishing of merit list on AICTE website.

अमान्य/गलत खाता संख्या के कारण छात्रवृत्ति का भुगतान न करने के संबंध में AICTE की Website पर मेरिट सूची के प्रकाशन की तारीख से केवल छह महीने तक ही विचार किया जाएगा।

Query regarding non-payment of the scholarship due to invalid/ wrong account number will be entertained only up to six months from the date of publishing of merit list on AICTE website.
