The Institute is a Government Organisation under the Department of Technical Education, Government of Rajasthan. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Jodhpur.

The institute bred from its embryo in the year 2011 with two conventional branches of Computer Science Engineering, Electronics,  & Communication Engieering . Now this institute has 5 branches- Computer science , Electronics & communication, Electrical Engineering, Electronics (Robotics) and Cyber Forensics & Information Security.

Institute is situated at Village Borkhandi Khurd, Near Banas Bridge, Jaipur Road, Tonk, Rajasthan (India)
